Technology and Real Estate - best practices


This class is structured as a workshop to empower REALTORS® to clearly define a professional, custom marketing plan, with a clear path for technology options.


By creating a foundation that defines oneself, one can then best apply technology to how you do business. The objective is to define what makes our relationships, specific people and places who define those relationships, and means of exchange of resources between people and places.


Once we are clear with this foundation, we can then consider technology options that fit our specific business needs. 


We accomplish this goal in the same way computer programmers develop software.


Develop a framework for your business.

Be clear with your workflow of that business.

Manage and respond to changes effecting the framework and workflows.


We define each of these elements in terms of 

PEOPLE - the relationships between all stakeholders to a real estate contract and the public at large.

PLACES – the places agents represent and agents ability to present the highest and best use of said properties.

EXCHANGE - how do we go about interpreting people, places and the relationships between both? How does the way we manipulate technology help or hinder our means to an end?


This class is intended to be a living document, intended to continually ask questions about “How is our business at hand adapting to change?’ 


We will be creating a lasting digital footprint of ourselves, the ultimate marketing tool.

Create a consistent workflow defining what and how you do your business

Define your brand and business model

Examine the customer journey for your model.



Footprint 

Define what and who you are about leaving your mark on the world.

Leave a trail (for legal, for everyone, for life).

Browser extensions

Social media Management and Analytics

Understand how to create and use analytics along the customer journey from beginning to end and beyond.


 


This class is intended to permanently impact your business at hand, starting today. We expect attendees come prepared to work.


A notebook to “yes”. A notebook to use for the next 90 days. (90 days to change a habit)

A fat marker and a regular pen.

Laptop with MS Excel, Googlesheets, Word.

A smartphone.



This is a hands on interactive class intended to solve agents and Brokers real world problems.


Each slide / page is divided into three sections:

Class content.

Side bar Box that refers to specific technology terms or company that uses the technology mentioned in the class content.

Worksheet to be filled in as part of the class.
